Love it or hate it for what it says about society, Jerry Springer is one of the most recognizable people on the planet.  Five years after making an appearance on his television program, I got to interview the man, face to face, as he filmed segments for his show, entitled “Springer Break,” in which he went on a talent search amongst college kids visiting Panama City Beach.

An afternoon shooting in the crowded parking lot of a Publix grocery store in Panama City, shocked a community, and left a 24 year old woman dead.  Being the first member of the media on the scene, here’s some of my footage, moments after it happened.
